We are pleased to inform you that Studfall Medical Centre and Weldon Surgery will be joining with Woodsend Medical Centre, Wollaston Medical Centre, and Bozeat Surgery.

This merger will take place on 18th November 2025.

Please note that we will not have access to our clinical systems from 4.30 on 18th November 2025, but will be business as normal 19th November 2025.

🌟 Why are we merging?

To strengthen local healthcare services and ensure we can continue to offer:
• High-quality, sustainable patient care
• Access to a wider range of services
• Improved flexibility and appointment options
• A stronger, more resilient team

💡 What this means for you

• All surgeries will remain open – there are no plans to close any sites.
• You will continue to see the same doctors, nurses, and staff you know.
• You can choose to be seen at any of the merged sites if convenient.
• We plan to expand services such as phlebotomy, spirometry, and extended access clinics.

🖥️ Temporary system downtime

To prepare for the merger:
• Studfall and Weldon systems will be unavailable from 18th November 2025 from 4:30pm.
• Only emergency appointments will be available during this time.
• Please order repeat prescriptions early.

📍 After the merger

• Woodsend Medical Centre will become the main site.
• Wollaston, Bozeat, Studfall, and Weldon will operate as branch sites.
• All phone numbers and websites will remain the same for now.
